Risk 1 Consulting Inc ("Risk 1," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and who we share it with. It applies to risk1inc.com and does not apply to information we may collect outside this website, such as through direct client engagements.

Information We Collect

Information you provide. If you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message, plus your phone number and company name if you choose to provide them. We don't require an account to use this site.

Information collected automatically. Like nearly every website, ours generates standard technical log data for all visitors as part of normal hosting and security operations — for example, IP address and request timestamps. We also use IP addresses specifically to help prevent spam and abuse of the contact form, described below. We don't use this technical data to build a profile of you or to track you across other websites.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit through the contact form to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to follow up about our services. We keep a record of submissions for our own business purposes — such as tracking prior conversations with a prospective client — for as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose.

We use your IP address, separately, to help prevent spam and automated abuse of the contact form: it enforces a temporary rate limit (held in server memory, not written to our database) and is sent to Cloudflare as part of verifying you're a real visitor (see "Third-Party Services" below). If a submission is flagged as likely spam, your IP address may also appear in our security logs.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing to third parties.

Third-Party Services

A few outside services are involved in operating this website and processing contact form submissions:

• Cloudflare Turnstile — a spam- and bot-prevention check that runs when you submit the contact form. Your IP address is sent to Cloudflare on every submission as part of verifying you're a real visitor, along with other limited technical information about your device and connection. • Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Graph — when you submit the contact form, a notification email is sent to our team through Microsoft's email infrastructure, which means your submission is also processed there. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
• Microsoft Azure — this website is hosted on Microsoft Azure infrastructure, which generates standard access logs (e.g. IP addresses, timestamps, requested pages) for all visitors as a routine part of hosting and security operations, not only those who submit the contact form.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't track you across other websites. The only cookie-adjacent activity comes from Cloudflare Turnstile above, which exists to keep the contact form free of spam, not to track visitors.

Data Security

Contact form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and stored in a secured database. Access is limited to Risk 1 personnel who need it to respond to inquiries.

Your Rights

You can ask us what information we have on file for you, request that we correct it, or request that we delete it, by reaching out using the contact information below.

Children's Privacy

This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
